Napa Valley Is Starting a Rosé Festival

Rosé-lovers have something to get excited about this month. Napa Valley is having its very first RoséFest at Sterling Winery on Saturday, June 24.
About 25 different Napa valley wineries (and one from Provence) will be sampling their rosés. Sterling’s brand new sparkling rosé will also make its debut at the event, giving guests the opportunity to be some of the first in the world to try it.
Michelle Flores, associate brand manager for Sterling Winery, told Travel + Leisure that while Napa is famous for its cabernet, they wanted to show off the region’s rosé.
“What’s amazing is that pink wines used to be just sweet white zinfandel,” Flores said. “Now it’s much more diverse than that.”
