Sweden Develops The Closest Thing to Teleporting We’ve Ever Experienced
Photos via Iconosquare by the Sunny Scoop and jofer86Gone are the days of waiting for your pilot to come on overhead speaker to tell you what the weather conditions are like at your final destination. Now, you can experience it for yourself before you even board your flight.
Stockholm Arlanda Airport has erected three simulation pods that allow passengers to experience different climates around the world in real time.
Basically, Sweden did in fact just introduce the closest thing to teleportation we have yet to experience.
The Climate Portals replicate weather conditions with the use of heaters, air conditioners, wind simulators and misters.
The three pods of the Climate Portal are labeled Go Hot, simulating desert conditions in places like Dubai, Go Cold, recreating winter conditions, and Go Big, showcasing the weather conditions in the world’s major cities.
The Climate Portals will be in Stockholm Arlanda through the end of August.
