The British Library’s Harry Potter Exhibit Goes Behind the Scenes

A new Harry Potter exhibit is opening in the British Library in October of this year, giving fans a inside look at their favorite series.

The exhibit will take guests through an amazing collection of wizardry books and magical objects, as well as manuscripts and original materials from J.K. Rowling’s archives. Medieval manuscripts are also on display, transporting guests into the world of magic from all things herbology to potions and caring for magical creatures.

This exhibit is in honor of the 20th anniversary of Rowling’s publication of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. Visitors have the opportunity to look at the original drafts and drawings done by Rowling and her talented illustrator Jim Kay. Editorial notes and manuscripts from the publisher of the series, Bloomsbury, are also included.

Catch the exhibit between October 20th, 2017 and February 28, 2018. You can purchase tickets here.
