Uber Introducing an Uber for Hot Air Balloons and Boats

Ever felt like getting picked up in a Uber car wasn’t glamorous enough for you? The company is now letting you be picked up in a hot air balloon or a boat, reports Tech Crunch.

Unfortunately, UberBoat and UberBalloon are only available in China, where it faces competition from Didi Chuxing, a taxi service similar to Uber. These services are being introduced because of increasing competition in Chinese markets, leading Uber to market itself as “more than a ride-hailing service.” To promote the app, it has also launched Uber Life, which includes a digital magazine about sports, art, plays and other events in cities.

Last year, Uber also announced #UberCHOPPER, an Uber for helicopters in New York City. Your move, Lyft.
