Watch the Mystery Begin to Unfold in First Clip from Harlan Coben’s Shelter

Harlan Coben’s Shelter, which premieres on Prime Video on August 18th, marks a shift in both form and location for adaptations of the American author’s many mystery and thriller novels. Shelter, which is adapted from the novel of the same name, sees the author stepping away from Netflix (where seven limited series adaptations have released since 2018) and partnering with Prime Video to bring his famed young adult series to life.

Shelter follows Mickey Bolitar (Jaden Michael) as he moves to the mysterious town of Kasselton, New Jersey after the passing of his father. When he arrives, he finds that the town is full of daunting secrets and mysterious disappearances, with some of those hidden truths even having ties to his own family. With the help of his friends Spoon (Adrian Greensmith) and Ema (Abby Corrigan), Mickey searches the dark underbelly of this sleepy town in an effort to expose its most well-kept secrets and get to the bottom of the legends and lore that plague the location and its inhabitants.
