Here’s Our Cryptic First Look at American Horror Story Season Six
Image via FXFX has released the first promotional image for the sixth season of its hit horror anthology American Horror Story.
The image combines the number six with a question mark in the typical font of AHS, revealing literally nothing about what the season could hold.
Earlier this year, there was talk of season six centering on the internet sensation Slenderman, but there’s been no confirmation of that since. We do know that it will be set in the present, lending more credence to the Slenderman rumor, and that it will include a good amount of flashbacks.
Variety reports that FX CEO John Landgraf said, “it’s set in two time periods … but principally in the present,” adding that showrunner and creator “Ryan [Murphy] will kill me if I tease anything!”
The only cast member with a confirmed return so far is Cheyenne Jackson, who just revealed the news on Monday. Lady Gaga has also said that she will be back, though FX hasn’t confirmed it.
However, Murphy was recently seated on stage with Finn Wittrock, Wes Bentley, Matt Bomer, Angela Bassett, Denis O’Hare, Kathy Bates, Sarah Paulson and Jackson at PaleyFest in March when he said, “I will tell you that every darling person up here that wants to come back can come back.”
