Unwrap a First Look at Apple TV+’s Holiday Special The Velveteen Rabbit in Premiere Clip

Apple TV+ is truly the place to be for adorable family fun this holiday season. Featuring specials from all of our favorite animated characters (like Frog and Toad, and Snoopy and friends), the streamer is kicking off the holiday season on November 22nd with their hybrid special The Velveteen Rabbit.

Based on the beloved book by Margery Williams, The Velveteen Rabbit follows 7 year-old William (Phoenix Laroche) as he discovers a world of magic with the help of his new friend and favorite toy, the Velveteen Rabbit. The series mixes live-action scenes with animated sequences to illustrate the power of imagination, connection, and love, all wrapped in a 40-minute runtime. Featuring a stacked voice cast that includes Helena Bonham Carter, Nicola Coughlan, Alex Lawther, Paterson Joseph, and more, this special is the perfect way to get into the holiday spirit.

In the first clip from the special, William and the Velveteen Rabbit attempt to storm an imaginary castle, but are interrupted by lunchtime. Over lunch, the two discuss their grand plans to find the treasure before heading out once again.
