Watch an Exclusive Clip from the Next Episode of Sharon Horgan’s Bad Sisters

Sharon Horgan’s excellent Apple TV+ series Bad Sisters is currently in the middle of its second season. If you thought a comedy whose first season was about the death (and potential murder) of an abusive husband wasn’t dark enough, you’re probably really digging the new one, in which one of the titular sisters has died unexpectedly. Yes, the Garvey sisters have had to say farewell to one of their own this year, and although we would usually avoid a spoiler like that here, well, the exclusive clip we’re sharing today rips that band-aid off immediately. If you aren’t caught up, and don’t want to know which regular dies this season, go ahead and skip this video and find something else to read or watch online. (We recommend something else at Paste, obviously.)

If you have seen the first four episodes of Bad Sisters season 2, and want a little taste of what’s coming in tomorrow’s fifth episode, here you go. In this clip from “Boom,” Fiona Shaw’s character Angelica Muldoon—who maybe knows more than she should about the death that kicked off the whole series—discusses how to best pay respect to the memory of the fallen Garvey sister. Considering she’s having that conversation with the surviving Garveys, who, y’know, knew their sister way better than this relatively recent friend, it’s not the most comfortable chat, with just a hint of blackmail. Or an outright threat. You be the judge.

Check out the clip below, and catch up on Bad Sisters only on Apple TV+. Based on the Belgian show ClanBad Sisters is produced and written by the show’s star and creator, Sharon Horgan, who also gave us the fantastic Catastrophe and Pulling. Her fellow Garvey sisters are played by Anne-Marie Duff (Suffragette), Eva Birthistle (The Last Kingdom), Sarah Greene (Dublin Murders), and Eve Hewson (Behind Her EyesThe Knick). Fiona Shaw, probably best known Stateside for her roles in the Harry Potter series, Killing Eve, and Andor, joined for season 2, and this season’s cast is rounded out by Michael Smiley, Owen McDonnell, Daryl McCormack, Barry Ward, Thaddea Graham, Saise Quinn, Yasmine Akram, Jonjo O’Neill, Peter Claffey, and Lorcan Cranitch. New episodes stream every Wedneday on Apple TV+ through the end of the season.
