Exclusive: Tony Hale Returns as Tobias the Elf in Doc McStuffins‘ Christmas Special

The North Pole loses power in the Doc McStuffins Christmas special, which finds Doc (voiced by Laya DeLeon Hayes) and her trusty group of talking toys heading to Santa’s hometown to save the big day. Now in its fifth season, the Disney Junior series, beloved by children everywhere, follows a young girl who has the magical powers to make her stuffed animals and toys come to life. For Christmas, she use those special skills to help Santa’s elves finish making all the toys for Christmas Day. Doc is, after all, a problem solver and an expert on making those around her feel better.

In the exclusive clip below, Tony Hale returns as Tobias the Elf, a role he voiced the last time the Peabody Award-winning series had a Christmas special, back in 2013. For the first time, Doc is airing across multiple platforms as part of the “25 Days of Christmas” programming event and can be seen on Freeform, the Disney Channel, and ABC throughout the month.

The Doc McStuffins Christmas Special premieres Sunday, Dec. 2 at 7 p.m. on Disney Junior. Read Paste’s interview with series creator and executive producer Chris Nee here.
