20 Great Doctor Who Quotes

The beauty of BBC’s Doctor Who is that its showrunners have come up with a clever method of preventing the sci-fi series from going stale. It helps that every so often, the Doctor “regenerates” and a new actor is brought in to play him. While the rebooted series aired back in 2005, Doctor Who has been around since 1963 and will soon celebrate its 50th birthday.
Throughout the show’s many seasons, we’ve enjoyed watching the Doctor (in his various forms) and his companion(s) travel through time and space via the TARDIS to ward off various threatening aliens, including galactic policemen, weeping angels, Daleks and Cybermen.
In light of current Doctor Matt Smith’s departure and Who’s upcoming 50th anniversary, here are 20 memorable quotes from the past seven seasons of Doctor Who. Be sure to let us know what your favorite Doctor Who quote is.
