Feast Your Eyes on the First Images from Netflix’s Forthcoming Dracula Limited Series from Sherlock Creators

In a new image from Netflix and BBC One’s forthcoming Dracula limited series, The Square’s Claes Bang is shown showing off his wooden vampiric teeth, chalky vampiric fingernails and vampiric bloodshot eyes, our first glimpse of the Danish actor taking on the formidable titular role.

Written and created by Sherlock creators Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss, Dracula follows the Transylvanian count as he wreaks havoc in 19th-century Victorian London. The miniseries will be told in three 90-minute parts, and feature John Heffernan (The Crown), Joanna Scanlan (Hold the Sunset) and Jonathan Aris (Sherlock) in unidentified roles alongside Bang’s Dracula.

Additionally, BBC and Netflix have announced the remaining cast for the series. Matthew Beard (An Education), Chanel Cresswell (This Is England), Lyndsey Marshal (The League of Gentlemen) and Lydia West (Years & Years), among others, are set to appear in the forthcoming episodes.

Filming is currently underway on the project and a release date has yet to be announced.
