Emmy Nominations 2022: Succession, Ted Lasso, White Lotus Lead
The Television Academy just dropped the nominations for the 2022 Emmy awards, announced by Melissa Fumero and JB Smoove. To be eligible for this year’s awards, a show had to air between June 1, 2021 and May 31, 2022. This year, the competition was stiffer than ever, with almost 200 drama series alone vying for one of eight nomination slots available, and comedy was not much better, with 118 series in contention.
Check out a list of the major nominees below. The 74th Primetime Emmys will air Monday September 12, 2022 on NBC.
