Most everyone figured it would be a while before Fargo would return. Last year, FX CEO John Landgraf told reporters it may be “quite some time” before the show’s creator, Noah Hawley, comes up with a new idea for season four. Hawley has been very busy as of late with the second season of Legion and an untitled Doctor Doom film in the works, not to mention his pretty extensive career as a novelist still going on. However, according to Vulture, FX announced at their Television Critics Association panel today that Hawley has an idea for the series’ fourth season. Landgraf said, “The plan is to have that ready for 2019.”
Season three of Fargo was nominated for three Golden Globes, including Best Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television, Best Actor in a Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television for Ewan McGregor and Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in a Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television for David Thewlis.
