Netflix Renews Will Arnett-Fronted Sitcom Flaked for Second Season

Netflix announced a slew of renewals and premiere dates for numerous shows earlier on Wednesday, but the news of the renewal of Flaked came late last night in a Facebook post.

The Will Arnett-fronted sitcom will return for a second season, set to premiere on the streaming service in 2017. The first eight-episode season debuted in March.

Flaked follows the bike-riding Chip (Arnett), a recovering alcoholic who keeps getting entangled in his own lies, even though he’s trying to help himself and others on the path to recovery. The sitcom also stars Ruth Kearney, David Sullivan, George Basil and Lina Esco.
