The Bear Season 3 Trailer Strives for Perfection

FX has dropped the first trailer for The Bear’s heavily-anticipated third season, and it’s just enough of a taste to leave us that much more hungry for the rest. We see that Carmy (Jeremy Allen White) has set his plan for a new restaurant into motion, but the pressure seems to only ratchet up from there, with the visceral stress that’s long served as the show’s signature (along with “yes, chef!”) evidently still driving the action. White’s Carmy demands perfection, and while the fate of his kitchen hangs in the balance, at least he and co-stars Ayo Edibiri and Ebon Moss-Bachrach seem to be operating at peak performance.
According to a press release, “Season 3 of FX’s The Bear follows Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto, Sydney Adamu (Edebiri) and Richard “Richie” Jerimovich (Moss-Bachrach) as they do what it takes to elevate The Bear, their beef stand turned fine dining establishment, to the highest level, all while doing their best just to stay in business. It’s a losing battle every single day in the restaurant business. Carmy pushes himself harder than ever, and demands excellence from his crew, who do their best to match his intensity. Their quest for culinary excellence will propel the crew to new levels and stress the bonds that hold the restaurant together. As the team grows in size, each member will strive to reach a greater level of service within their role. In the restaurant industry, you’re never on solid ground, and with that ever-changing landscape comes new challenges and opportunities. Our chefs have learned that every second counts, but this season we’ll find out if they have what it takes to make it to tomorrow.”
In addition to the trio at the show’s center, Oliver Platt and Molly Gordon will both be returning in recurring roles, alongside turns from Abby Elliott, Lionel Boyce, Liza Colón-Zayas, and Matty Matheson.
