Fox Cancels Paranormal Comedy Ghosted

Fox’s paranormal comedy Ghosted has officially been canceled after only one season, as confirmed by Variety.

Starring Craig Robinson (The Office) and Adam Scott (Parks and Recreation) as the duo enlisted by an agent of the Bureau Underground for help, the two investigate “unexplained” activity in Los Angeles, i.e. the paranormal and “anything outside the scientific realm,” as Barry Shaw from the Bureau tells the unsuspecting men.

Despite featuring the “believer” Scott and the skeptic Robinson coming together as partners, the show couldn’t come into its own in a way that improved ratings, with Fox going on to cancel the show even after replacing original showrunner Kevin Etten with Paul Lieberstein (of The Office).
