The 2024 Holiday Gift Guide for TV Lovers

The 2024 Holiday Gift Guide for TV Lovers

I don’t want to stress anyone out but Thanksgiving is LATE this year. After you’ve celebrated and eaten to your heart’s content this Thursday, don’t take a nap, don’t watch football, start shopping. And to help you find exactly what would make this holiday special for the TV lover in your life,  we’ve made our list and checked it twice to come up with our 2024 TV gift guide.

1. Tile Town Bluey Heeler Home

TV gift guide

Your kids can recreate Bluey, Bingo, Chilli and Bandit’s Brisbane home (for real life!) with this brand new magnetic Tile Town set. But let’s be honest, the series didn’t become one of the top 10 streamed shows just because the kids are watching. You know you want to play with it too. You can place Bluey and Bingo on the magnetic swing or put them in “dance mode” on the dance map. There are so many new Bluey presents to choose from this year including the brand new book Bluey: Bartlebee’s First Christmas which features a jigsaw puzzle, a board game, and holiday ornaments. Hooray!

2. Eva Garvey Amour Soeur T-Shirt from Bad Sisters

tv gift guide

Who among us hasn’t plotted with our sisters to murder a dastardly spouse? Sharon Horgan’s Eva Garvey wears this tee in “Baby Becka,” the fourth episode of the AppleTV+ dramedy’s first season. The Garvey’s sisters’ love and dedication to each other is fierce. More mysterious deaths occur and their “amour soeur” (French for “sister love”) remain intact in the show’s second season, currently airing on AppleTV+.

3. Friends Complete Series 4K Ultra HD

TV gift guide

Can there be any more Friends boxed sets? More than 20 years after its series finale, this NBC comedy about twentysomethings living in New York City remains almost universally beloved. Available for the first time in 4K Ultra HD, this set includes all 236 episodes and 20 hours of bonus content including brand new segments entitled “Through the Peephole” which takes fans behind the scenes on the show’s costumes and props.

4. Grey’s Anatomy Trivial Pursuit

TV gift guide

How many times has Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) almost died? Who hasn’t Owen (Kevin McKidd) been romantically involved with? What role did Kyle Chandler play? Longtime fans, like myself, can test their knowledge of all things Grey Sloan Memorial in this just released edition of Trivial Pursuit. Categories include “You’re My Person,” “Doctor’s Orders,’ “It’s a Beautiful Day to Save Lives,” “Welcome to The Game,” “Dance It Out” and my personal favorite “McDreamy or McSteamy?” Pick this gift. Choose this gift. Love this gift.

5. Little People Lost Figures

TV gift guide

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the ABC drama’s premiere, Fisher Price debuted this new set as part of their Little People Collector line. Look for Kate Austen, Jack Shephard, John Locke and Hugo “Hurley” Reyes. Clues are hidden in the set that can be revealed by a (not included) UV light. Will the set be able to explain the series finale? Probably not! But still fun for any fan who wants to go back . . .

6. Masked Singer Don’t Speak to Me Sweatshirt

TV gift guide

Is there any show more preposterous than the hit Fox series that finds celebrities in outrageous costumes singing for a panel of judges (Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg, Ken Jeong, Robin Thicke and Rita Ora) who try to guess their identity? Definitely not. But this “Don’t Speak to Me” sweatshirt, the same ones contestants wear backstage to keep who they are a secret, can show both your support of the show and, perhaps, even your general mood that day.

7. Lisa Vanderpump’s Vanderpumpblooms

TV gift guide

Give gifts like you are a well-coiffed reality star this holiday season. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and Vanderpump Rules star Lisa Vanderpump has her own line of floral bouquets available at Krogers Grocery Stores. The Autumn Extravagance bouquet could make the perfect hostess gift. After all life isn’t all diamonds and rosé, but it should be.

8. Wednesday Adams LEGO

Wednesday may not believe in heaven or hell, but she does believe in LEGO. While the wait for the second season of the hit Netflix series is interminable (two years and counting), you can entertain yourself with three different Wednesday LEGO sets, including building Wednesday and Enid’s dorm room.

9. What We Do in the Shadows Tour T-shirt

We are truly sorry. We are taking this gift giving season very seriously. These are our serious faces. Serious. Serious. Serious. As the FX comedy heads towards its series finale on December 15, why not commemorate the occasion with this tour t-shirt of where the gang hung out in each century. Pairs well with one human alcohol beer.

10. Only Murders in the Building Directed by Oliver Putnam Hat

Sure, investing in one of director Oliver Putnam’s (Martin Short) shows is akin to setting money on fire. But you can still show your support for his craft and celebrate all things Only Murders in the Building by sporting this hat.
