2016 has been a pretty depressing year. We have a presidential election that just won’t end, celebrity deaths everywhere you look, and it’s not even over yet. If there’s one thing that might just save us all, though, it’s probably Gilmore Girls. The Netflix revival of the show is set to drop in exactly one month, and now it has its first full trailer, filled with all the joy that 2016 has been so woefully lacking.

Our first peek at Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life tells us where our girls are, almost 10 years after the show ended. Luke and Lorelai are still together, and Rory is traversing the world, living as a “vagabond,” as Emily explains. Speaking of the senior-most Gilmore girl, Emily is lost after Richard’s death, unsure of what to do next.

In fact, all three Gilmore girls are a little lost, which is exactly how we like them. In addition to giving us glimpses of our core trio, we also get peeks at everyone else in Stars Hollow: we see Michel, Taylor, Babette, Lane and even Sookie! The whole crew is back together. Kirk even gets treated to a Friday Night Dinner for reasons that are still unclear. Check out the full trailer above to bask in 2016’s last hope.
