Victoria Pedretti of Haunting of Hill House to Return as New Character in Netflix’s Haunting of Bly Manor

Actress Victoria Pedretti is set to star in Netflix’s Haunting of Bly Manor, per Deadline.

Haunting of Bly Manor is the second installment of Netflix’s horror anthology series, following the show’s 2018 debut season The Haunting of Hill House. Pedretti starred in Hill House as Nell Crain, which marked her first major onscreen role.

The first season of the series was (loosely) based on Shirley Jackson’s novel of the same name, while Haunting of Bly Manor is based on Henry James’ novella The Turn of the Screw. The novel tells the story of a governess, who will be portrayed by Pedretti, who is tasked with looking after a pair of siblings. However, supernatural beings around the house have a some sort of spiritual hold over the children.

Other than Pedretti, The Haunting Of Hill House starred Michiel Huisman, Carla Gugino, Henry Thomas, Elizabeth Reaser and Kate Siegel, to name a few. Pedretti is also set to star in Quentin Tarantino’s forthcoming film Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and Netflix’s second season of You.
