Quinn’s Return Teased in New Trailer for Homeland Season Six
Photo by Jim Fiscus/ShowtimeThere’s an election to be dealt with in the trailer for Homeland’s sixth season, and that’s not the only real world parallel. This year, the Showtime drama is set in New York, and will take place during the transition from one president to another. As the trailer suggests, “The transfer of power will not be peaceful.”
How this will connect to Claire Danes’ Carrie Mathison is unclear, a she seems to spend the brunt of the three-minute trailer working with a suspected terrorist. Carrie is also seen speaking with her old friend Quinn, who was last seen in a coma at the end of Homeland’s fifth season.
Homeland is set to return on Jan. 15, and it looks more relevant than ever. Check out the trailer for the show’s sixth season above, and sigh a little when you see their version of a female president.
