Jeff Goldblum and Chef Gordan Ramsay both have unscripted series in the works with National Geographic, as announced Wednesday on the Television Critics Association summer press tour.

As reported by Deadline, Goldblum will star in a 12-part series currently titled The Curiosity of Jeff Goldblum. The show will follow Goldblum as he discovers what makes ordinary things extraordinary—a step away from his work on Jurassic Park, whose story’s framework is already set in the extraordinary. Rather than dinosaurs, Goldblum will confront mundane things like balloons and toilet paper and unpack them, showing viewers how such things entered our lives and continue to impact them.

Goldblum said the series “puts me in the driver’s seat, guiding viewers on a mind-blowing adventure where we break down the unexpectedly complex science behind seemingly basic things.”

He also said that “Curiosity is a fundamental human trait,” according to Deadline. Himself a curiosity, his eccentricity in films like Thor: Ragnarok and Jurassic Park seem to be as much him as the character. The show promises an entertaining and informative exploration of the science we encounter on a daily basis. (Speaking of entertaining, did you see Goldblum’s statue in London?)

Chef Gordan Ramsay, known for his series Hell’s Kitchen and his temper (but absolute kindness with the children on MasterChef Junior), also has a new series forthcoming: Gordon Ramsay: Uncharted. As reported by Broadcasting & Cable, Ramsay will explore the world through food and of course engage in some friendly competition.

“Gordon is not only a bold chef and exceptional television talent, but he is also a fearless adventurer who pushes himself to the limit to fully immerse himself in new worlds and cultures. We’re thrilled to inspire the legions of Gordon Ramsay fans with a series unlike anything they’ve ever seen from him before,” said Courteney Monroe, CEO, National Geographic Global Networks in a statement.
