10. 6-BEE
Parodying popular television shows of the time, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon created the sketch series titled 6-Bee to poke fun at Fox’s hit musical show Glee. In the second episode , Late Night’s glee club excitedly prepares for their sectionals competition before finding out their biggest competition, the cast of Parks and Recreation, has been rehearsing in their studio. To make things worse, Amy Poehler and crew also recruited Late Night’s spectacular band The Roots to join their team. Hilarity ensues as both teams sing-fight to Twisted Sister’s classic “We’re Not Gonna Take It.”
9. Tight Pants
When Will Ferrell stopped by last May, the former SNL comedians performed a bit about two bowl-cut-sporting men arguing over whose new white pants are the talk of the town. The sketch includes a catchy ‘70s-style song and cheesy, laughter-inducing dance moves.
8. Robert is Bothered
Jimmy Fallon was known for his excellent celebrity impressions on SNL, and he’s brought them over to his talk show. During the media frenzy surrounding the Twilight movies, Fallon created a sketch series where he emulates Robert Patinson as his Edward Cullen character while complaining about various topics. In the video above, Robert is bothered by technology and gadgets, specifically Apple’s iPad. 7. Jersey Floor
In 30 Rockefeller Center, Late Night workers discover a floor where they’re instantly transformed into Jersey Shore-inspired culture. That means names like J-Bro, big hair, spray tans and lots of partying. SNL alums Rachel Dratch and Abby Elliot guest star in the sketch series as well as Josh Meyers (brother of Seth). In the second episode, NBC funny ladies Amy Poehler and Tina Fey also get to experience the party on the jersey floor.
6. History of Rap
With three installments so far, History of Rap is almost expected each time Justin Timberlake visits the show. Backed by The Roots, Fallon and Timberlake perform a medley of hip-hop songs that both honor and mock famous tracks. History of Rap parts 2 and 3 can be viewed in the video above. With Timberlake most likely stopping by Late Night soon to promote his upcoming album, we’re hoping for a part 4.

5. Downton Sixbey
Late Night’s most recent sketch, Downton Sixbey parodies the widely popular British drama Downton Abbey. Jimmy Fallon, his family and show writers are all the current residents and workers within Studio 6B. In this sketch series, Fallon serves as the Earl of Downton Sixbey with announcer Steve Higgins as his head (lead) footman, head writer A.D. Miles ludicrously playing the Dowager Countess and Questlove named as the rightful heir. 4. 7th Floor West
Inspired by MTV’s reality-esque drama The Hills, 7th Floor West documents Jimmy’s transition into his job as Late Night host through his struggles with coworkers and stressful decisions about which tie to wear for the first show. Premiering on the first episode of Late Night, this inaugural TV parody series spawned two seasons with 16 total episodes over a year and a half. 3. Real Housewives of Late Night
Real Housewives of Late Night features Jimmy Fallon, Steve Higgins, A.D. Miles, writer Bashir Salahuddin, and Roots bassist Owen Biddle as extremely over-dramatic “wives.” Played in drag by their male counterparts, Denise Fallon has a fierce rivalry with Yvonne Salahuddin. In the first episode of season two available in the video above, insults and name-calling (of course) result when Denise does not invite Yvonne to the brunch with the other Late Night wives.
2. Slow Jam the News
NBC longtime news anchor Brian Williams (also known as Bri Will.i.Ams) regularly appears on the recurring musical sketch Slow Jam the News where Jimmy and The Roots sing about current newsworthy topics by crooning to slow R&B music. Last April, President Barack Obama appeared on the show during Late Night’s special broadcast from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. On the topic of asking Congress to not double interest rates on student loans, the Barackness Monster, as Jimmy refers to him in the sketch, joined the group to slow jam the news. 1. LATE
An admitted Lost fanatic, Fallon could not resist parodying the ABC hit drama. With seven episodes total, Late tells the story of 12 Late Night workers who survive an elevator crash that leaves them on an abandoned floor of 30 Rock with no apparent way out. Fans of Lost will appreciate the specific similarities the characters of this sketch share with the original island refugees. The second episode is available above with the crew determining how to survive and Jimmy giving his version of Jack’s “Live Together Die Alone” speech.
