Killing Eve Renewed for Season Three at BBC America
Suzanne Heathcote will step in as the acclaimed series' showrunner

BBC America announced Monday that Killing Eve has been renewed for a third season. The critically acclaimed drama stars Sandra Oh as MI6 operative Eve and Jodie Comer as the psychopathic assassin Villanelle.
Killing Eve’s second season premiered on BBC America and AMC on Sunday night. The series is based on the Codename Villanelle novellas by Luke Jennings. It also stars Fiona Shaw as Carolyn Martens, the head of MI6’s Russia Section, and Kim Bodnia as Konstantin, Villanelle’s handler.
The third season of the Emmy-nominated series will be helmed by Suzanne Heathcote, who will be taking over from the second season’s showrunner Emerald Fennell. The season will be executive produced by Oh, Sally Woodward Gentle, Lee Morris, Gina Mingacci, Damon Thomas, Jeff Mevloin and the show’s original creator, Phoebe Waller-Bridge. The series is produced by Sid Gentle Films Ltd. for BBC America and distributed by Endeavor Content.
