Lance Reddick, Who Elevated Everything He Was In, Has Died at 60

Sad news today, with reports that actor Lance Reddick has passed away at home at the age of 60.

The prolific actor stole every scene he was in, whether in film, television, or videogame voice acting. He was someone who always understood the assignment.

As our Associate Film Editor Jesse Hassenger so aptly put it:

My own introduction to Lance Reddick was as Cedric Daniels in The Wire, and after that, I was always excited for anything he was cast in, knowing it would be great because he was in it. From major roles in series across all genres like Fringe, Bosch, Lost, Corporate, and the recent Resident Evil series (the only good thing about it!), to being a pillar of the John Wick franchise, as well as an unforgettable part of both Destiny and Horizon Zero Dawn, Lance Reddick had it all: The look, the voice, the presence. And he was always up for anything:

The man was everywhere, a true actor’s actor, and was such an immense talent. He always left an impression, always raised the bar, and will be truly missed.
