Making a Murderer Defense Team to Tour North America
The reason the true-crime genre engrosses fans is because it pits them as detectives. Even after a show like Netflix’s runaway-hit documentary series Making a Murderer ends there’s still a feeling that things aren’t resolved leaving viewers feeling invested and wanting more.
For those seeking answers, Dean Strang and Jerry Buting, defense attorneys for Steven Avery, have announced North American dates for “A Conversation on Justice” Tour where they will be discussing Avery’s case and the broader topic of the American criminal justice system.
“In essence this is sort of like a directors cut of what experiences we had and what lessons we’ve learned from that case [the Avery trial] and other cases in our career,” Buting said in a promotional video.
Each night will also feature a Q&A portion and the opportunity for the audience to address questions directly to Dean Strang and Jerry Buting.
Local ticket pre-sale begins Thursday, March 3 at 10 a.m. local time, general onsale begins Friday, March 4 at 12 noon local time. More at: ConversationonJustice.com
