Heartstopper Teases New Experiences and New Faces in Heartwarming Season 3 Trailer

Everyone’s favorite comfort watch is coming back for more indie tunes and positive vibes in its third season.

According to Tudum, Season 3 picks up in the immediate aftermath of Season 2, with “Charlie eager to tell Nick that he loves him and Nick holding on to something important he has to say to Charlie. As the summer holiday ends and the months race on, the friends begin to realize that the school year will come with both its joys and its challenges. As they learn more about each other and their relationships, plan social events and parties, and start thinking about university choices, everyone must learn to lean on those they love when life doesn’t go to plan.”

The trailer offers us our first glimpse at new experiences for our favorite teens and new exciting faces gracing our screens. Charlie (Joe Locke) and Nick (Kit Connor) look to take their relationship to the next level, while Charlie’s inner conflict casts a dark shadow over their connection. Tao (William Gao) and Elle (Yasmin Finney) face their own struggles, while Tara (Corinna Brown) and Darcy (Kizzy Edgell) experience changes as well. But newcomers Hayley Atwell and Jonathan Bailey step in to offer much needed guidance in Olivia Colman’s unfortunate absence. And, of course, it wouldn’t be Heartstopper without the series’ signature cartoon elements and indie needledrops.
