Netflix is Renewing Bloodline for a Third Season

After receiving high ratings, Netflix’s slow-burn thriller-drama Bloodline is being renewed for a ten-episode third season. The show, about the Rayburns, a troubled family of adult siblings, stars Kyle Chandler, Sissy Spacek, Ben Mendelsohn, Linda Cardellini and Norbert Leo Butz, and as an original series, streams exclusively on Netflix.

“[Show creators] Todd [A. Kessler], Daniel [Zelman], and Glenn [Kessler] have created a riveting family saga featuring one of the most talented ensembles in the history of television,” said Cindy Holland, Vice President of Original Content at Netflix in a press release. “We can’t wait to see what the next chapter holds for the all-too-human Rayburns.”

The series premiered in 2015, and is produced by Sony Pictures Television. The third season will be released in 2017.
