Nickelodeon Introduces First Married Gay Couple in Network’s History on The Loud House

TV News Nickelodeon

Nickelodeon is making history by introducing a bi-racial gay couple on its animated show, The Loud House.

However, the kids’ network isn’t being flashy or provocative with the introduction. Rather, the show focuses on the protective nature of the two dads, voiced by Wayne Brady and Michael McDonald, as they drop off their son at a sleepover. You know, like any ole parent.

The series aired in early May and centers on Lincoln Loud, the only boy in a family with ten sisters. Lincoln is friends with a boy named Clyde, whose parents are the gay couple.

The couple will make their debut on The Loud House’s July 20 episode.
