Steve Buscemi, Greg Kinnear, Mireille Enos Join Philip K. Dick’s Electric Dreams Anthology Series

Steve Buscemi, Greg Kinnear and Mireille Enos have all joined the rest of the all-star cast of new sci-fi anthology series Philip K. Dick’s Electric Dreams. According to THR, the series was ordered by Channel 4 in the U.K., and Amazon Prime will be bringing the series to the States.

Buscemi’s episode, the noir-style “Crazy Diamond,” will follow an average guy who finds himself in over his head when he’s asked to help a synthetic woman with an illegal plan. Kinnear and Enos will both star in “Father Thing” as a couple with a young son whose world is under an alien attack. These new additions join an already star-studded cast featuring Bryan Cranston, Timothy Spall, Anne Reid, Tuppence Middleton, Hayley Squires, Jack Reynor, Benedict Wong and Geraldine Chaplin.

Honestly, any adaptation of Philip K. Dick’s stories is exciting. His stories have already lent themselves to adaptation incredibly well through Blade Runner, Minority Report and Amazon’s own The Man in the High Castle, among others. So it’s safe to say that we’re pretty pumped about this.

Philip K. Dick’s Electric Dreams is currently in production and should air on Channel 4 in the U.K. later this year.
