Apple has ordered another series for their lineup of originals, thriller drama series Severance.
The series is directed and executive produced by Ben Stiller, who recently directed Showtime’s acclaimed Escape at Dannemora. He is joined by Adam Scott from Big Little Lies and Parks and Recreation, who will be starring and executive producing.
“Severance is a workplace thriller that introduces Lumen Industries, a company that’s looking to take work-life balance to a new level. Scott will play the lead role of Mark, an employee with a dark past trying to put himself back together,” explains the series’ synopsis.
There’s little other information about the series itself, but with Apple TV+’s stocked lineup of original series like See and M. Shyamalan’s Servant already causing a lot of hubbub, it’s likely Severance will make a splash, too. In the meantime, check out our rankings of every Apple TV+ show (so far).
