Showtime Announces New Ron Howard-Produced Docuseries Gossip Starring Cindy Adams

Showtime Documentary Films has announced a new limited docuseries, Gossip Starring Cindy Adams (working title).

With Brian Grazer and Ron Howard executive producing, and Jenny Carchman (The Fourth Estate) producing and directing, the docuseries chronicles the history and rise of Adams, whose work at the New York Post made her “the reigning queen of gossip.” Not only will the project celebrate Adams’ legendary, four-decade career, but it will also examine the cast of celebrated and often notorious characters who emerged from her writing, as well as the legacies of other storied journalists within her orbit.

Scheduled to premiere in 2021, the show is an Imagine Documentaries production made in cooperation with the New York Post.
