Hopper Is Alive (and Bald) in the Stranger Things Season 4 Teaser

While the fourth season of Stranger Things won’t hit Netflix until 2021, there’s still some encouraging news about the forthcoming season: Hopper is alive in Russia! In the snowy wasteland of Kamchatka, to be specific, where he goes by the alias “The American.” It appears that Hopper’s in some sort of work camp/gulag and his head has been shaved bald, but that the evils of authoritarianism are the only monsters afoot … for now.

According to a statement by series creators the Duffer Brothers, Stranger Things 4 “is shaping up to be the biggest and most frightening season yet,” and “back in the States, a new horror is beginning to surface, something long buried, something that connects everything … ”

Watch the teaser below, and while enduring the long wait for Season 4 to drop, the Duffer Brothers advise you to “pray for the American.”
