This Year’s TCA Nominees Have Been Announced: Atlanta, The Handmaid’s Tale, This Is Us Lead the Pack
Photos by Charley Gallay/GettyThe nominations for this year’s 33rd annual Television Critics Association Awards have been announced. Atlanta, The Handmaid’s Tale and This Is Us lead the pack with four nominations each, while HBO tallied the most noms as a network (for the second year running) with 12, beating Atlanta’s FX by just one.
Other noteworthy nominations include two for Carrie Coon’s performances in The Leftovers and Fargo—her double nomination is unprecedented, and her first TCA award nod. The Handmaid’s Tale broke ground as well, earning Hulu its first-ever TCA nom.
The TCA awards presentation will be held Saturday, Aug. 5, and hosted by Kristin Chenoweth. Take a look at the full list of nominations below and read our thoughts on the season finale of The Handmaid’s Tale here.
