The Kominsky Method Renewed for a Second Season

The Kominsky Method, the show that launched a thousand “What the fuck is that?” tweets when it picked up two Golden Globes, is returning for a second season. Production on the single-camera comedy’s eight episodes will begin in Los Angeles later this month.

Michael Douglas, Alan Arkin, Sarah Baker and Nancy Travis are all slated to return as series regulars. Douglas won the Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Television Series – Musical or Comedy for his role as the past-his-prime Sandy Kominsky, while Arkin received a nod for playing Norman Newlander, Kominsky’s longtime agent. Creator Chuck Lorre took home his first Golden Globe thanks to their Best Television Series – Musical or Comedy win. We’re sure he added the award to his shelf of shiny Emmys, cackling and shouting “Bazinga!” the whole time.
