The 5 New and Under-the-Radar Shows You Can’t Miss This November
As any store will tell you, the holidays are upon us. Constant retail emails try to make you feel guilty that you haven’t done your holiday shopping. What do you mean you haven’t started your Christmas cards yet? Peppermint has replaced pumpkin as the flavor du jour. Hallmark Channel has been celebrating the most wonderful time of year since October.
But we here at Paste TV try to savor the time between Halloween and Thanksgiving. This month, we will be covering Sarah Snook’s new Peacock drama All Her Fault on November 6, Michael Shannon as President James Garfield in Netflix’s Death By Lightning also on November 6, and Vince Gilligan’s new series Pluribus starring Rhea Seehorn, which premieres on November 7 on AppleTV.
As always, we don’t want you to miss those under-the-radar shows. Here are the five new ones you can’t miss this month.

1. Crutch
Stars: Tracy Morgan, Jermaine Fowler, Kecia Lewis, Adrianna Mitchell, Adrian Martinez, Braxton Paul, and Finn Maloney
Premiere Date: All eight episodes premiere on November 3 on Paramount+
Tracy Morgan headlines this new comedy set in the world of the CBS hit The Neighborhood, which is now in its eighth and final season. The November 3 episode of The Neighborhood will reintroduce Crutch (Tracy Morgan) as Calvin’s (Cedric the Entertainer) cousin. Morgan first appeared on the show back in 2022. Now Crutch thinks his life in Harlem is going just great until his two adult children Jake (Jermaine Fowler) and Jamilah (Adrianna Mitchell) move back home. Kecia Lewis, who won the Tony in 2024 for Hell’s Kitchen, co-stars as Crutch’s sister-in-law, Antoinette.

Good comedies are hard to come by these days. So you definitely don’t want to miss Stumble. In the same mockumentary style of The Office and, more recently, The Paper, the comedy follows Courteney Potter (Jenn Lyon), a championship junior college cheer coach who was on track to become the coach with the most wins until a less-than-professional video surfaces.
“I have been asked to be fired,” is how she puts it. She leaves her overwrought assistant coach, Tammy (Kristin Chenoweth), and her star flyer, Krystal (Anissa Borrego,) behind. Now at a new college, Courteney must build a new team from the ground up.

4. Malice

Between this and Hulu’s recent remake of The Hand That Rocks The Cradle, TV is definitely playing into our worst fears about outsourcing child care.
Jack Whitehall stars as Adam, who meets Jamie (David Duchovny) and Nat Tanner (Carice Van Houten) and their children on vacation in Greece. It doesn’t take long for Adam to worm his way into the Tanners’ world. Catastrophe soon follows, and Jamie must risk everything to protect his family.

5. The American Revolution
Premiere Date: November 16 at 8 p.m. on PBS. A new episode will air on consecutive nights from November 17 to 21.
Living in Massachusetts, I love to joke that my children learn nothing but the American Revolution from kindergarten through twelfth grade. There was a moment last year at the dinner table when my high schooler and my child in fourth grade realized they were learning the exact same thing in history class. Sometimes I wonder if they will ever get to the 20th century.
So it was delightful to watch Ken Burns’s latest documentary series for PBS, which takes a deep dive and uncovers brand new information, tidbits, and fascinating facts about this fraught time in our history. The series is narrated by Peter Coyote and features several familiar voices, including Meryl Streep, Mandy Patinkin, Tom Hanks, Laura Linney, and Jonathan Groff. They give life to this story. One that seems more important now than ever.
