Victoria Celebrates Christmas—and the Royal Working Mother—in Its Season Two Finale

Though the final episode of Victoria’s second season is titled “Comfort and Joy,” much of it brings anything but. This season took us through the throes of motherhood for Victoria (Jenna Coleman), an experience she does not wholeheartedly enjoy—throughout the season, it’s obvious she likes the novelty of kids, but prefers the “seen but not heard” method of actual parenting. So, in this episode, when she takes particular interest in an orphan, it feels out of character.
