You’re the Worst Renewed for Fourth Season of Making You Laugh and CryImages via FXX TV News You're the Worst
A Sunday Funday is in order: FXX has renewed its critically acclaimed comedy You’re the Worst for a fourth season, which will air in 2017. The announcement came from Eric Schrier and Nick Grad, the Presidents of Original Programming for FX Networks and FX Productions.
Created by Stephen Falk, You’re the Worst follows two incredibly vicious people as they fall in love and work through issues they had long before they met. In many ways, it’s an anti-romantic comedy. The show has been adored by critics since its first season, and it has found a comfortable home on FXX.
“Expertly written, brilliantly acted, You’re the Worst continues to be hilarious and excellent,” said Schrier. “We’re excited to get Stephen and his team working on next season and thank everyone at You’re the Worst for their outstanding work and the opportunity to keep producing great TV together.”
“It is a daily thrill to have You’re the Worst in the same network family as Archer, Fargo, American Crime Story, The Americans, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Atlanta, Better Things, Louie, etc.,” said Falk. “While I am currently deep in post on Season 3 and so, so tired, you guys, I am overjoyed.”
This news comes asYou’re the Worst airs its third season, which shows no signs of slowing down. You’re the Worst airs Wednesday nights at 10 p.m. on FXX.
