Wye Oak announced their forthcoming album, titled Shriek, back in January. And today they released their new music video for their single “The Tower”.
The music video presents a small piece of Wye Oak’s guitar-free music, where Jenn Wasner sings and plays synths and Andy Stack plays drums. The video features two eccentric painters breaking out into song and dance and are later accompanied by a group of back-up dancers in a warehouse setting. “The Tower” was directed by Ben O’Brien (Dan Deacon). Wye Oak’s new record Shriek will be available April 29 through Merge Records.
