Ludacris ends T.I. beef, talks new album

The hip-hop feuds of yore were relatively simple affairs. An artist would release a diss track, the target would respond, and they'd go back and forth for a while until they got tired of it, usually releasing a collaboration track in the process (get money!). With the crews of modern hip-hop, it gets a little more complicated. Now there's feuding factions for a rapper to contend with, intra-posse squabbles, and enough court intrigue for a drama on premium cable.

Those two worlds collided (kind of like that Jay-Z/R. Kelly album, only without the pepper spray and lawsuits) Wednesday night at Madison Square Garden when the Jigga Man was brought out as a special guest to close Kanye's West's Glow In The Dark Tour.

“You’re letting me down,” sings Ben Sollee on “Dear Kanye,” a song released on his MySpace  page yesterday. Bringing the fire, Sollee reprimands the Great Ye for forgetting that “No one needs a light show/ Just good flows,” and further for wasting his potential to inspire youth by instead blogging “commercials / For stuff [they]’ll never need.”

Bob Odenkirk vs. Rogue Wave: the saga continues

There's something satisfying about seeing two heavyweights slugging it out, something about the grandiloquence of conflict between two binary opposites writ large. Ali Vs. Frazier. The Celtics Vs. The Lakers. Obama Vs. Clinton. Abbott & Costello Vs. Frankenstein. This world of epic matchups is poised to add another brawl to its ranks: Odenkirk Vs. Rogue Wave. As previously reported, the ex-Mr. Show star and the alt-rock up-and-comers recently had a fake spat over Mr. Odenkirk's artistic vision for their "Chicago X 12" music video. Well, it looks like Rogue Wave has responded with a salvo of their own, leaving little in question about Odenkirk's mental state:
