It's already been a (s)mashing week for 2008 festival lineup announcements and, to segue into a one-two hackneyed cliché/pun punch, when it rains, it pours—and when it pours, it's time to pull out a Bumbershoot! Bumbershoot: Seattle’s Music and Arts Festival returns under the shadow of the Space Needle this Labor Day weekend for it’s 37th year, featuring the Shins, Steve Earle, Magnolia Electric Co. and Wu-Tang Clan, among others. The three day festival (September 1 – 3) also features movies, theater, comedy, poster contests, literary arts and dance on 20 indoor and outdoor stages in the Seattle Center.
