Biopic About Chewbacca Actor Peter Mayhew in the Works

Everyone’s favorite walking carpet is getting his own film. Alright, maybe not Chewbacca himself, but the man in the suit, Peter Mayhew, will be the subject of an upcoming film written by Evan Susser and Van Robichaux. Director Kyle Newman will develop the film, which focuses on the life of Peter Mayhew during the creation of Star Wars. Movie mogul Harvey Weinstein's got a new nickname. Previously labeled "Harvey Scissorhands" because of his notorious tactics with film editing, he's gone on to be compared to another famous movie character who's ambiguously amoral, but probably tends a little further toward outright evil than Edward Scissorhands.
