Jimi Hendrix will be the inspiration of a new park, which is set to be located in Seattle’s Central District, Komo News reported. The park is set to open in 2012 in honor of what would have been Hendrix’s 70th birthday. Designs for the park were revealed at a Dec. 1 at a public meeting that took place at the Northwest African American Museum.  read more
