Despite his association with Seattle and the grunge movement of the 1990s, Pearl Jam’s Eddie Vedder is a born Chicagoan. Last August, the die-hard Cubs fan and his band played two shows at Wrigley Field in the lead-up to the Cubs’ first World Series championship since 1908. Those shows were immortalized in the form of Let’s Play Two, a rock doc directed by Danny Clinch. Now, to mark the release of the film on DVD and Blu-Ray, Pearl Jam have unveiled an 8-bit videogame that allows players to choose any member of the band and play a little home-run derby.

Appropriately titled “Home Run Hitting Contest,” the game features pixelated likenesses of Vedder, guitarists Mike McCready and Stone Gossard, bassist Jeff Ament, drummer Matt Cameron and pianist Boom Gaspar, complete with skill ratings (Vedder and Cameron rate as most powerful). Players have 60 seconds to hit as many homers off the automated pitcher as they can manage, with top scorers earning a chance to win exclusive Pearl Jam merch.
