Jimmy Tatro Joins Cast of Pete Davidson-Judd Apatow Comedy

American Vandal star and Real Bros of Simi Valley creator Jimmy Tatro is the latest to join Pete Davidson and Judd Apatow’s forthcoming comedy.

The untitled Universal project is a semi-autobiographical coming-of-age comedy set in Staten Island that uses elements from Davidson’s childhood. Further details of the Apatow-directed film’s plot have yet to be revealed.

Tatro, whose comedic work on Real Bros of Simi Valley and his personal YouTube channel has amassed a sizable following, will appear alongside Marisa Tomei and Maude Apatow as Davidson’s mother and sister, respectively, and Pamela Adlon, Bill Burr, Bel Powley and, yes, Machine Gun Kelly, in undisclosed roles.

Universal set the film’s release date for June 19, 2020, but while you wait, you can see Tatro in the forthcoming Kumail Nanjiani-Dave Bautista buddy comedy Stuber in July.
