The Walking Dead‘s Andrew Lincoln Will Narrate Quidditch Through the Ages for Audible

Andrew Lincoln is swapping Rick Grimes’ Southern drawl for his own British accent to narrate the Harry Potter companion book Quidditch Through the Ages. Written by J.K. Rowling as Quidditch historian Kennilworthy Whisp, the book “charts the game’s history from its early origins in the medieval mists on Queerditch Marsh, to the modern-day sport loved by so many wizard and Muggle families around the world.”

In addition to Lincoln’s narration, the audiobook features immersive sound design and promises over an hour and a half of bonus content—like Quidditch match commentary from Ginny Potter. Pottermore will release the audiobook on March 15th, and it’s available to preorder exclusively on Audible here.

“The Wizarding world is one that I always wanted to get the chance to step into,” Lincoln says in a press release from Audible. “What makes this project so special is not only that it allowed me opportunities to create something my kids love and enjoy, but it also supports great causes, like Comic Relief and Lumos.”

Pottermore announced that 15% of the proceeds from the audiobook will be donated to Comic Relief and Lumos, both UK-based charities that support children internationally.
