Joe Biden’s new book, Promise Me, Dad, now has a Nov. 14 release date, as announced by Flatiron Books. The non-fiction work is the first of three books to be released by Joe and his wife, Jill, who have a joint deal with the publishing company.
The book will detail Biden’s struggle to perform his governmental duties while mourning the loss of his son, Beau, to brain cancer. “I hope my own story will strike a chord with other Americans who have walked the same path I have,” said Biden in a statement. “I have always been fortunate to have an incredible support system around me, and I understand how many people in this country go through far worse than I have, with far less support.”
The book release date reveal was accompanied by an announcement that Biden will be embarking on an American Promise Tour, on which he will visit cities across America to discuss issues with local leaders. You can buy tickets for the tour and preorder Promise Me, Dad here.
