BoJack Horseman is Returning to Netflix in July

Comedy News BoJack Horseman

The best animated show of 2015 is finally coming back: season three of BoJack Horseman will be released on Netflix on July 22.

The underrated dark comedy, which our own Shane Ryan called “one of the most thoughtful comedies ever made,” is about BoJack, a horseman and once-famous sitcom actor in the 90’s, who tries to bring back his career. According to Netflix, the new twelve-episode season will concern the following:

BoJack is grappling with his legacy while trudging through an increasingly turbulent Oscar campaign for his star-making turn in the Secretariat biopic. BoJack struggles with how he’ll ultimately be remembered by his fans and what lasting impact he’s made on those closest to him. Also, there are lots of silly puns and talking animal jokes and celebrity cameos and all the other stuff that everybody loves about BoJack Horseman. It’s a very funny and good season of television. Don’t worry.

The show features Will Arnett, who voices BoJack, Amy Sedaris, who voices Princess Carolyn, and Alison Brie, who voices Diane Nguyen. The series was created by Raphael Bob-Waksberg.
