Work Sucks Even More in Corporate‘s Second Season Trailer

The Orwellian world of Comedy Central’s Corporate promises to get even more nightmarish in season two, which premieres on Jan. 15 at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT. At least that’s our takeaway from the first trailer for the new season of Matt Ingebretson and Jake Weisman’s bleak satire of late-stage capitalism, which you can watch below. From police state desk sensors used to squeeze extra productivity out of employees, to a convention center full of suited automatons robotically handing out business cards, to, uh, a pantsless Lance Reddick playing baseball with some kind of Legend of Zelda-looking sword, Corporate isn’t going to start pulling its punches in telling us how much it sucks to work at places we all know suck to work at. The “culture of shame” they hope to foster through those desk sensors is basically shorthand for the show itself, and yes, corporate life as an entirety. And I can say that confidently as a man who’s writing this in his boxers at the breakfast table in his own house.

Corporate stars Ingebretson, Weisman, Reddick, Anne Dudek, Adam Lustick, and Aparna Nancherla as employees of the dystopian multinational Hampton DeVille. Season two will include guest appearances from Elizabeth Perkins, Kristen Schaal, Andy Richter, Sasheer Zamata and more. And once again, it starts on Comedy Central on Jan. 15 at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT, right after the new season of Drunk History.
