Hosts Desus Nice (Daniel Baker) and The Kid Mero (Joel Martinez), formerly of Viceland, ushered in the new era of their Showtime series in style on Thursday night, accompanied by an illustrious first guest: their fellow Bronx native, Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.). Perhaps you’ve heard of her.

Highlights of the episode include the Bodega Boys bombing on Career Day, leading off with a Dragon Ball Z Fusion Dance (complete with VFX), attempting to EGOT via pointed Green Book parody The Greenest Book, and of course their AOC interview and subsequent visit to the Capitol, where they exchange “yerrr”s with the congresswoman.
