Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Her Emmys Are Inseparable in New Saturday Night Live Promo

Phoebe Waller-Bridge, riding high after several well-deserved Emmy wins for her brilliant comedy series Fleabag, is headed to Studio 8H to host a little show called Saturday Night Live. The Fleabag creator and star keeps her new SNL friends close and her Emmys closer in the clip, released Wednesday ahead of this weekend’s Waller-Bridge-hosted episode.

Rookie SNL featured player Chloe Fineman and recently promoted (alongside Heidi Gardner) repertory player Chris Redd start out the clip, sounding awfully starstruck by Waller-Bridge, to whom we soon see Beck Bennett pitching oddly Emmy-centric sketch ideas. PWB’s charm is in full effect even as she politely coerces Fine and Bennett into waiting on her hand and foot—we all know Fleabag has sticky fingers when it comes to her golden statues.

We’ll be seeing plenty more of Waller-Bridge in the days to come, and not just on SNL: She struck a big overall deal with Amazon just last week, which will see her develop more new projects for Fleabag streaming home Prime Video, and she contributed to the script of Cary Joji Fukunaga’s No Time to Die, the 25th film in the James Bond franchise, at the personal behest of star Daniel Craig. Don’t bet against Waller-Bridge making more little gold friends.

Watch Waller-Bridge flex all over SNL below. Her episode, also featuring musical guest Taylor Swift, airs on NBC this Saturday, Oct. 5, at 11:30 p.m. ET.
